Police working around Winnipeg Beach now say the fatal fire that killed a 90-year-old was arson.
Just talked to a neighbour two houses down from the fire.
He says whoever did it targeted his car and boat first and left lit matches burning on them.
Luckily, the wax-based matches didn’t light and his stuff wasn’t destroyed.
Police have fingerprinted his car in their hunt for a suspect.
People in the community are in shock that a suspected arsonist is still out roaming around.
One said the talk of the community is of a hooded suspect seen fleeing the area of the house fire.
RIP Patrick Gallagher.
